Everything was going well for this Corvette race car over the weekend, until a fire started melting his rear tires! Something like a tire fire (heh, that rhymes!) can really ruin your time trials – but the pictures are pretty fantastic to look at. have a look at the event shots (courtesy of Jalopnik) below.
