The Play-Doh Chevy Orlando
We may not know art – but we know what cars we like made out of giant chunks of Play-Doh. A 1.5 ton life-size model of the Chevrolet Orlando appeared on a London street this week. It weighs 369 lbs less than the real vehicle. The car was built over a two week period by a team of 8 sculptors, and was sanctioned by Chevrolet UK as a promotion for the upcoming hatchback.
According to a recent survey of 1,000 British citizens, Play-doh is the nation’s favorite childhood toy. That’s why Chevy chose it as their inspiration for this piece.
