Under Pressure – Chevy Camaro Cracks After 150 MPH?

Eeek! Say it isn’t so! But apparently the cracks have come to GM (in more ways than just Government Financiers – wakka wakka!) But the drivers of an all new Chevrolet Camaro have reported cracked front end issues after a test run putting it past the 150 mile per hour mark.

This sighting comes from PlantLSX.com, who stated that after a run of 155 mph, the front end of this 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS cracked on both sides! The test vehicle was only a week old, and also right off the line production. But fear not, because it has already been follows up with on PlanetLSX’s blog:

“Apparently this was an early production nose, slapped on to get it to Hennessey for parts development. The issue has been addressed and repaired on other cars. Something about a bolted bracket not being installed properly.”
