LimeLite Coachworks based out of California did, to be exact. And why would they create such a monster-like beauty? Well, we’re not sure – maybe they wanted to be the first to have a fully-green Hybrid Chevy Tahoe Limo. Or, maybe they just really like to take naps and needed the extra leg room. Regardless of reasoning this puppy will sure bring in hordes of drunk high schoolers once prom season comes calling.
You’re probably thinking no matter how much the electric motor goes into use on the rificuloudly large Tahoe its size alone can’t give it better fuel economy than your average 4-door SUV. Well, you’d be wrong – The Chevrolet Tahoe Limo has an 80% fuel economy increase over your standard Tahoe.

This is magnificent. 80% fuel economy increase!! thats amazing! I drove my Tahoe hybrid everyday, I drove that thing for three weeks in a half before I had to go to the gas station. and the needle in the fuel gauge was at 48%(my estimate). So yeah, I’ll keep my Tahoe H forever. Hybrids does wonders for all.
Bu what I don’t understand is are you comparing the hybrid limo’s fuel economy to the regular Tahoe or the hybrid Tahoe.
