Following in the footsteps of retro-design taken by Chrysler/Dodge (with the Challenger) and Ford (Mustang) Chevy’s artists and mechanics have created a vehicle that is a pleasure to both admire and operate. Its looks combine both old school Camaro curves and the low, wide frame of a Corvette. Shoppers will be able to purchase a V6 or V8 SS version, pumping between 300 and 400 hp from her powerful engine. As Chevrolet General Manager Ed Peper said in a July press release; “The new Camaro delivers the best of both worlds – great heritage and a thoroughly modern, advanced package of performance, comfort and technology…It’s a sports car for a new generation of enthusiasts that doesn’t forget the heritage that helped make the original a cultural icon.”
