2008 Chevrolet Cobalt Review

This new model is outfitted with a 2.4L ECOTEC Engine. This dual overhead cam, 16-valve High Output engine proves the driver with exceptional performance and 171 horsepower; you’ll also be saving on gas with 22 city and 32 highway mpg. The 2008 model comes standard with a five-speed manual transmission, and it has a four-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission—with overdrive—available as an optional feature.

What it does is use ABS sensors to automatically detect and act to decrease wheel skidding.
