2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 WT
GM’s latest line of full-size pick up trucks, the Silverado, is known for offering a variety of model variations and trim levels, with the most basic being the Silverado 1500 WT. The new 2008 model of the 1500 WT is a heavy duty machine offering impressive features to the basic model in the vast list.\
The Silverado 1500 WT offers a standard 4.3L V6 engine that features 195 hp @ 4600 rpm and an estimated average of 18 mpg; pretty nice for a large sized pick-up. This includes a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission for easy handling. The 4.3L V8 engine is also available as an option. A standard four-wheel antilock brake system, complete with Dynamic Rear Proportioning, is also included in the standard package.
The interior is something special. It includes a 40/20/40 split-bench vinyl front seat, complete with a folding arm rest; this provides a spacious environment to the traditional truck architecture. The Pickup box includes bulkhead dividers, and the endlessly useful two0tier loading option standard on all vehicles. The standard for the interior also includes a useful array of vehicle diagnostic monitors, a full-width rear bench, and more. An optional feature for the vehicle is the four track-mounted, sliding hook-based Cargo Management System.
This full-size pick up can’t be passed by for the traveler with storage needs.
